EncryptedPrivateKey

Struct EncryptedPrivateKey

Source
pub struct EncryptedPrivateKey { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Encrypted PKCS#8 private key (EncryptedPrivateKeyInfo) per RFC 5958 §3.

EncryptedPrivateKeyInfo ::= SEQUENCE {
    encryptionAlgorithm  AlgorithmIdentifier {{ KeyEncryptionAlgorithms }},
    encryptedData        EncryptedData
}

Used when the server-generated private key is encrypted with a password or key-wrapping mechanism before transport.

Implementations§

Source§

impl EncryptedPrivateKey

Source

pub fn new(der: Vec<u8>, encryption_algorithm_oid: String) -> Self

Creates a new encrypted private key wrapper.

Source

pub fn der(&self) -> &[u8]

Returns the raw DER-encoded EncryptedPrivateKeyInfo.

Source

pub fn encryption_algorithm_oid(&self) -> &str

Returns the encryption algorithm OID.

Source

pub fn validate(&self) -> EstResult<()>

Validates the DER structure.

1.0.0 · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
